My son went to Planet Sensory for 1 year for CPSE services. OT 2x week & PT 2x week. I cannot say enough about Ester and her team, they are the BEST! Planet Sensory is such a supportive engaging safe space for parents and kids. I thank my lucky stars I found them, my son made SO much progress and I learned invaluable tools to support his needs at home. Thank you!!

My daughter received PT services with Dr Blesa at planet sensory through CPSE. Dr Blesa was great with my daughter and made her PT sessions fun and engaging. She provides exercises to do at home and I’ve seen great improvement in my daughter’s gross motor skills. In addition, the owner Ester is always very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. I highly recommend Planet Sensory for PT services.

What can I say? Planet Sensory is nothing short of amazing. My 3 1/2 year has progressed so much in the 8 months that he’s been going. His therapist Karla has been so kind, energetic and patient with my son, during both 1:1 sessions and summer mini camp. Esther and her team truly do remarkable things and have created such a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for anyone who walks through Planet Sensory’s doors. 10++/10 would reccomend!

As both a mom and a physical therapist (not a pediatric therapist!), I can honestly say this place is amazing. The therapists are creative, patient and really know how to connect with kids. My daughter actually looks forward to going, which says everything.

We’ve seen great progress and I really appreciate how my daughter’s PT gives us helpful ideas to implement at home. I’m so grateful for the care they’ve given her and would definitely recommend Planet Sensory to other parents.

My youngest is begging me to sign her up for open play sessions when they are available.

My son love this place. Amazing staffs. Unlike other OT places planet sensory has lot of equipments that are really beneficial for kids. I been to many kids OT/PT places, never seen a big sensory play area like planet sensory. I see a lot of improvement in my son’s fine motor skills. Deserve more than a 5 star review. Thank you.

The moment we walked in for our first session my son was completely comfortable, we felt so welcomed by Miss Ester! She is kind and caring, my son looked forward to his weekly sessions which had a big impact on progress. Miss Ester was always open to speak about progress, share what they worked on, and feedback for how we can support at home. We thoroughly discussed goals before we started which made me feel great to have a solid plan. Highly recommend!

Ms. Ester has completely changed our lives for the better. My son’s 3-K teacher recommended Occupational Therapy. The school district evaluated him, but denied services because he wasn’t ‘disabled.’ My mom-gut knew he needed help that I was not equipped to give him. He had poor upper body strength, social anxiety, sensitivity to sounds, and we could not take him out to eat or to social events.

My sister found Planet Sensory Occupational Therapy and it has been a game-changer. After just 4 months of bi-weekly visits my son is more confident, engaged, social, and more communicative. His ability to communicate using words vs crying or tantrums has improved greatly.

He plays with the other kids at school and even goes to their birthday parties and play-dates.

I highly recommend Ms Ester and Planet Sensory Occupational Therapy.

Esther is an amazing occupational therapist, she knows what she’s doing and always explains things in a way that’s very understandable. She’s also super kind and caring, and it’s evident she really wants to help. I’m really glad I got to work with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of an occupational therapist!

My daughter has been going to Planet Sensory for almost 6 months, and we couldn’t be happier with the support she’s receiving. Ms. Ester has created a safe, warm, welcoming environment, and each individual therapist mirrors that same warmth. We look forward to going each week!

Planet Sensory is a truly wonderful place that has helped our son’s progress tremendously. Ester offer’s comprehensive evaluations for her young clientele, insightful feedback and genuine support for families. Her individualized approach is very both effective and appreciated as she focuses on the unique strengths and needs of each child. I would highly recommend Planet Sensory to any parent who is seeking occupational and/or physical therapy for their child.

Where do I start….. Like another parent said, the moment we walked in my son was excited to be there. His previous therapy reminded him of the doctor’s office. My husband said that the atmosphere was very welcoming and of course Mrs. Ester too. My son came twice a week and he was starting to build a routine. He even start to familiarize himself around the room and where everything was. I know my son enjoyed his time here even though it was too short. Mrs. Ester definitely made an impact on my boy’s life. Definitely worth it!

I highly recommend Planet Sensory. My son made amazing progress working with Ms. Esther through CPSE. As a pediatric therapist myself, I appreciated her child-led approach, targeting goals through play. My only regret is not finding Planet Sensory sooner!

I was excited to see a sensory gym coming to Baldwin and they did not disappoint. Ester was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. Ester was so patient with my 7 yo son who has autism and sensory challenges. The gym was always clean and I felt all of my son’s safety needs were being met. I would highly recommend this business/therapist (OT).

I don’t write reviews often - Planet Sensory deserves all the praise and recognition. Words can’t begin to describe how beautiful and clean this facility is. Ms. Esther really put so much love into this space. My son has been receiving therapy here and he has made drastic improvements in a short time. Ms. Esther is a therapist who is so rare to come by. My son has a few therapists (speech, PT, etc) and Ms. Esther has to be our favorite. She puts so much care into my son’s sessions - a therapist who cares the way she does, makes a huge difference. She truly loves what she does and it shows. If you want HIGH QUALITY occupational therapy - this is the place. I’ve searched high and low all over Long Island, nothing compares to Planet Sensory.

Your kid could be the next one

You didn’t need a checklist to tell you something was different. You’ve known for a while. The parents who get here fastest are the ones who stopped waiting for someone else to confirm it.

Jillian B. put the cost of waiting better than we could: her only regret was not finding Planet Sensory sooner. Skills build on skills, and the year spent waiting is a year your child works harder than everyone around them to keep up.
